I’ve been there.

Many new parents and couples I work with feel successful in many aspects of their outside life, but feel empty or disconnected when they are at home. They are high functioning in many ways, yet cant’t seem to manage to fix their closest relationships no matter how they try.

As a new mom, my marriage started to crumble. Amidst one of the biggest transformations of my life, I felt completely alone and desperate for connection. Simultaneously, many of my friends were having similar experiences. I started to wonder why infertility, pregnancy, and parenthood were such huge stressors on relationships. I wanted to find ways to find relief for myself and my friends.

I believe

families can strengthen in the most trying times.

When your relationship is unstable, it can be a massive source of disconnection and isolation. It can also be an opportunity to strengthen your relationship, heal old wounds, and set your family up for mental and emotional wellbeing in the long run.

Through our work together, I’ll help you reconnect to yourself so you can reconnect to your loved ones. By strengthening communication skills, examining relationship patterns, and practicing new ways of relating to each other, we’ll transform stressful experiences into experiences of learning and growth.

I believe

all couples and families deserve support.

Infertility, pregnancy struggles, and new parenthood challenges impact all couples. My practice is affirmative, open, neurodivergent affirming, and supportive to people of all genders, sexual orientation (LGBTQ+ affirming), backgrounds, ethnicities (anti-racist), and religious practices. I will honor and support your beliefs and your practices while offering you the opportunity for understanding and growth. I believe in de-pathologizing the human experience and de-stigmatizing mental health struggles.

a Little Bit About Me

When I’m not seeing clients, I enjoy cooking, hiking, running, and spending time outdoors with my husband, kids, and our dog. Relationships are my passion at work and at home, so I spend a lot of time reading books about relationships and couples. I’m also a regular attendee at therapy conferences so I can stay up to date on current counseling trends.
